Watching Bugsy Malone after they were famous and feeling uncomfortable

DD is asleep on my lap and I can't reach the remote so I'm stuck watching itv + 1.

Is it just me or is the whole Bugsy Malone thing a bit weird? The are pictures in the back ground when they are interviewing the actors of Jodie Foster in a provocative lads mag type pose and it makes me feel really uncomfortable.

Is it just me? Or am I being a bit precious?

I think it's a bit weird too.

I also thought it was a bit weird. A few of those seventies films with child actors give me a disturbing vibe - Taxi Driver, Pretty Baby are a couple that come to mind.
