YANBU at all. I adore Pink. I have almost every song she has ever written on my ipod. Infact I have just finished listening to Perfect.

My mum also likes Pink and Katy Perry Confused

Kelly281 · 30/12/2011 14:36

YANBU music doesn't have an age limit and Pink is fantastic

TrinityRhino · 30/12/2011 14:37

Nanny0gg · 30/12/2011 14:40

Xmas Blush

D0oinMeCleanin · 30/12/2011 14:47

I've just remembered my 70yo Grandad admitted he prefered listening to Eminem than to my Aunt and Nan's music.

So nope, music has no age limits Grin

ageperfect · 30/12/2011 14:49

Thank you allXmas Smile...for a second i really thought i am way too old....I do like her songs, some of them are with lots of meaning....Thanks
You are right when you say music doesn't have an age limit (wondering what my friend thinks i should listen)hm....

First time I ever heard Pink was John Peel playing "You Make Me Sick". No such thing as too old :)

Matronalia · 30/12/2011 14:52

I feel sorry for your friend. I wonder what else she is denying herself on the grounds that she is too old.

TotemPole · 30/12/2011 14:54

I agree with others. Music doesn't have an age limit. You like what you like.

mrsjay · 30/12/2011 14:55

didnt say how old you are ? im 40 and love pink MY eldest dd has liked her for years , I think shes great turn her up shes best listened to loud Grin and stupid girls is the best pink song ever ,

mrsjay · 30/12/2011 14:56

I also like green day my chemichal romance and fall out boy when they were around , Music is for listening too not for tutting and saying turn that racket off Grin

Chandon · 30/12/2011 14:59

and apparently Gordon Brown listens to the Arctic Monkeys Wink

somehow just don't believe he does...

Grin Grin Grin

mrsjay · 30/12/2011 15:01

Think gordon was just trying to get down with the kids Grin and david was already hugging hoodies and rapping Wink

jamdonut · 30/12/2011 15:04

I love Muse. I'm 47, and stood in mud and rain for 12 hours at Leeds festival to see them ! (God I suffered the next day, though!) And I wasn't the oldest, though I thought I would be!! Grin

TrinityRhino · 30/12/2011 15:10

oh Im 33 if that helps

and I'll never be to old for any sort of music, if I like it I like it

ageperfect · 30/12/2011 16:54

Well, ageperfect, I'm old enough to be your mum, so I don't know what your friend would have to say about my musical taste!

toweraboveyou · 30/12/2011 18:30

Age is irrelevant. I'm 28 and I think Pink is terrible. But I like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Randy Newman and Paul Heaton. Musical taste is what it is.

fit2drop · 30/12/2011 18:56

31!!!! good grief !!! I have children older than you Grin and I adore pink , I also got lady gaga albums for my 56th birthday Grin and my son is at this moment looking for coldplay touring dates as he is buying me my 57th birthday present , a ticket for where ever coldplay tours (lets hope its abroad Grin

and on the 20th January I will be attending a "horrorburlesque"night with lots of thrash metal

I love all todays music , strangely my children love all blondie and bryan adams stuff as that is what would be blasting out when they were little.
Music has no age preference , it touches everyone .

ByTheSea · 30/12/2011 18:58

I'm 48 and I like Pink.

MsBazinga · 30/12/2011 19:29

I love Pink too and I'm older than you fit2drop Grin

humblehippo · 30/12/2011 20:53

YANBU. I like a bit of Pink and similar music such as Katy Perry... sometimes you are just in the mood for it!

thepeoplesprincess · 30/12/2011 20:57

Do kids listen to Pink anyway? She's getting on a bit herself.

fit2drop · 30/12/2011 21:12

sits with Ms Bazinga in the "refusing to get old" corner Wink
