How can you not like Will Ferrell? He makes me laugh lots and is fabulous in Elf as well as Blades of Glory

fivegomadindorset · 23/12/2011 18:19

I laughed to, we also laughed at Step Brothers and DH stayed awake all the way through, also Will Ferrell.

Hullygully · 23/12/2011 18:24

I love it.

My fave is Talladega Nights.

Just I always considered I had good taste in movies and was a bit of a movie buff in days or yore when I had the time and inclination to sit through serious movie sessions. Other guilty secrets I laughed at was Mr dees with Adam Sandler and Don't Mess With The Zohan (think they got panned a bit). Hated There's Something About Mary and not too keen on Meet The Fockers. F Forgetting Sarah Marshal was mighty funny though.

I don't like Will Ferrell either but Blades of Glory is probably one of my favourite films

Hullygully · 23/12/2011 18:40

Have you seen Talladega Nights Jins?

Oh it's so good.

TidyDancer · 23/12/2011 18:41

Blades of Glory is an amazing film. It's not usually my type of humour either, but it's a fantastic comedy!

Jinsel · 23/12/2011 18:44

It's next on my list Huls

aldiwhore · 23/12/2011 18:47

Talladega Nights is v funny too. But my son ADORES Elf (he's 8) and wants to see everything with Wil Ferrel in... I often forget that TN and BoG are actually rather innappropriate. I have to store them on different shelves.

I do think though that as much as Wil is my not-so-secret crush, that I have to be in the mood for him. Sometimes I'll even watch Elf and think 'worraloadashite', yet its one of my fave films.

LadySybilPussPolham · 23/12/2011 18:48

I like to think I've got sophisticated taste in films but I can't resist a Will Ferrell film. Or Steve Carell for that matter (Anchorman's my fave)

Greatdomestic · 23/12/2011 20:24

Not at all. It cracks me up every time I see it.

peeriebear · 23/12/2011 20:25

ANCHORMAN
That is all. :)

sozzledchops · 23/12/2011 20:39

See, Anchoman did nothing for me.

I didn't enjoy anchorman but Will Ferrell in Zoolander cracks me up and I really enjoyed his wildlife Marshall role in Jay and Silent Bob
