To think that my well off Auntie could have bought me a house warmer as well

My niece has recently moved into her first house and my much well off auntie bought her some vouchers to spend as she wishes.
I moved house a alittle while before my niece I recieved some gifts off some of my family which was very nice.
Nothing off my auntie I was out with my auntie and other members of my family when my auntie bought the vouchers for my niece.
I feel quite hacked off about it tbh.
My mom my aunties sister said its because my auntie was invited for tea to my nieces house whereas my auntie has just been along for a look at my house and a cup of tea and cake.
My mom agrees though that its not really fair.

My auntie was much richer than your auntie (no, honest! I'm sure she was!) and she never gave me anyfink when I moved house. S'not fair.

Oh, I am an Aunt too, just realised poor child is 2. I hope I am not a fat one. I've never given a present off of myself though.

I am an aunt several times over.

I have decided not to get anything for my eldest nephew anymore because he never thanks me. Not even a poxy text.

I will continue to buy for the others, but I will be making extra effort for the one who sends the nicest Thank You letter.

Perhaps your Auntie feels the same?

I am an Aunt to two gorgeous girls and they call me "cool Auntie XXX" (real name) as they have two Aunts with the same popular in the 1970's name and I am the cool one.
