no YANBU. i am also saddened by my lack of round robbins (robbi?) and deeply jealous of everyone who gets loads of them!

You can have mine if you like (weird/middle class family).

I get loads.

PM me your address.

You haven't lived until you've received a Round Robin Xmas Grin

There are loads of threads on here about RRs, but basically they're a general purpose, non-personalised letter describing people's year which they send out with their Christmas cards - the same letter goes to everyone. Some are funny, some informative, some dull and some are smug-fests.

This year we've had (1) from an old college friend of mine whose DH's job has taken them to postings all over the world, I haven't seen her since before she got married and their DC are now adults! I love getting her RR cos it's the only way I find out where in the world they are and what they've been doing. (2) from my best friend from school, hers is always a photo collage which I always think is lovely. (3) one we get intermittently from a vague acquaintance of mine, hers are usually (this year's particularly) completely off the wall and I can't make head or tail of what she's going on about Grin

Oh, and last year we got one from DP's DSis, who lives abroad. It was two pages worth of boring detail about everything they'd done - the only thing was that we knew all of this cos we email and speak on the phone frequently Xmas Confused

YANBU, they are hilarious. I've got one this year from someone I know slightly - two pages about his papyrology studies and the Prayer Book Society!
