My sister has face booked me to say that she needs to be available on the 4,5and 12th of january as she has appointments, despite me having put all mine up on the calendar. I have told her i cannor change them. It seems a bit of a coincidence that all of a sudden since she came in today that she has appointments after i got 2 yesterday and put them up for the fouirth and fifth, the fourth being solicitors about custody in response to a letter from his solicitor and the fifth a doctors appointment, The 12th is my best friends birthday and so it seems all too coincidental, that these are the three days her appointments fall upon. Or am i being paranoid, (quite stressed) x

Alambil · 22/12/2011 20:05

oh. Tell her to get a dog crate then.... makes life so much better.

Why doesn't she take the dog training to teach it not to eat everything?

GypsyMoth · 22/12/2011 20:06

Don't you have enough problems Ellen!? Without creating more.... Just dont be available. For anything

ThePathanKhansWitch · 22/12/2011 20:07

Lewis can you get them for children?

notveryinventive · 22/12/2011 20:07

They're her dogs, her responsibility, why does it effect you?

Alambil · 22/12/2011 20:07

Pathan, I believe so! Xmas Wink

LargeHadronKaleidoscope · 22/12/2011 20:09

If it's not possible, just tell her you can't, it sounds like you've got enough on your plate already.

Flubba · 22/12/2011 20:09

You what? You what? You what, you what you what?!

pingu2209 · 22/12/2011 20:11

What was that about? Say you can't dog sit because you have other things going on, ballabing ballaboom.

ThePathanKhansWitch · 22/12/2011 20:12

Lewis your my favourite Xmas Smile.

EllenandBump · 22/12/2011 20:14

More than enough problems and she knows it. But its apparently my fault for NOT CONSULTING HER FIRST. they are her dogs and not mine. Susie is a puppy (6months almost) and is currently chewing everything when not being given attention. I have told her i just cant do it and now shes questioning me on why what appointments are they i have and then apparently i will just have to change them. The solicitors appointment is the first one they had available and i needed it asap. It affects me or she makes my life hell, as in i alwasy try to help you etc, your so selfish etc... like a child does. I just said, i couldnt be available, i has appointments i couldnt change sorry. x Not unreasonable at all i dont think?

EllenandBump · 22/12/2011 20:15

IT PROBABLY ME JUST BEING STRESSED, X

OP posts:
NinkyNonker · 22/12/2011 20:17

Just say no.

mominamillion · 22/12/2011 20:17

Flubba will bear that in mind Blush

And use it in every sentence from now on Grin

Op just tell her you have prior appts. Her badly behaved dogs are not your responsibility.

Alambil · 22/12/2011 20:18

no, not unreasonable at all - she needs to be taught you won't drop everything for her

Still recommend the crate; means the dog can be left for an hour or so on it's own, in safety

Just tell her you can't do it. You had the appointments booked first and your needs are arguably more important than hers at the moment.
