A meme is an element of culture or behaviour passed on through non-genetic means: on a forum that will be in-jokes and references. Nothing to do with schools, although they will have their own memes. You could argue that persistent references to schoolyards when people feel irritated and excluded are an internet meme too, I suppose.

And the schoolyard snipe was unnecessary TBH. As i Sadi unless this is your first foray into an internet forum you would be aware that there are always cries of cliquery/royalty. We don't all arrive on the site as a bunch of friends - we make those friends over time - it's like being a local in a pub. Others come into the pub, you chat happily, another older friend comes up to the bar and you say "Hello sweetie!" you ok?" and that's the way it is.
