To be pissed off with 'Toys are us' (online order)

I placed an order with them on the 5th Dec thinking that would be plenty of time to get the item delivered before we go away (this Sunday). It's now the 16th and still no bloody sign of it. I called them they said it was out for delivery today but they couldn't track it because for some reason there is no tracking number. I paid £4.95 for 4 day delivery and 11 days later it's still not here.
I'm really pissed off because it will now end up somewhere for collection but because we are away and xmas etc I will not be able to get it for weeks. Grrrr... Never buying from them again!
Anyone else has had a similar experience with them?

Do they deliver themselves or do they use a courier?

I read that as "torys are us" must be feeling sensitve about that.

I got a delivery at 6.45pm last week so don't give up yet

Kayano - I believe they use a courier. Not entirely sure though.

I would have liked to have ordered a couple of things from them, or even gone to my local store to collect, but literally every item I wanted was out of stock, both for delivery and collection, and yet they had it in 2 stores about 30 miles away, and wouldn't transfer it. So I took my custom elsewhere!

My Hermes have delivered my toys r us orders and earlier than they said would be delivered! I think yours has gone AWOL!
