To think that I might as well not bother with any toys for 10mo DS3 for Christmas

Seeing as he has been playing with the cardboard box that my internet delivery with DD's presents came in for over an hour??

I won't really - he needs a few toys that are more interesting than rattles, and I don't have any toddler toys left from the older dc, but Grin.

Oh - and on that note - YAY for Home Delivery Network. I was told my delivery would be today between 10am and 2pm. It turned up at 11.30am. YAY! (Ordered from Prezzybox on Tuesday evening)

For ds2's first birthday in October dh made him a multi level castle fort out of massive boxes he got from work. Every other gift got ignored.
Nothing can compete with a cardboard box for a baby.

For Christmas Dh is thinking of adding a conservatory for the castle

YANBU - he's too small to know any better.

My DS2 is 14 months and will only be getting a few small toys from Santa as there are so many toys in our house belonging to DS1 that are suitable. Oh and he will also be getting a second car seat for his Daddy's car as it is a pain the bum for me changing from one car to another. Santa is so thoughtful sometimes Grin.

Get him a huge box with a balloon inside Smile, much more fun than toys.

yanbu, have done that with no regrets.

keepingupwiththejoneses · 16/12/2011 13:29

I'm sure he will get lots from other people so yanbu, also as he is 10m his birthday is soon anyway.

He'll have plenty of time to demand lots of presents when he's older! In the meantime he'll probably be just as happy with boxes. I wish mine liked boxes that much...
We've got our DS (13mo) a couple of Xmas presents but did think of just wrapping his birthday presents up again.

YANBU!

My 11mo is getting two books, a bubble machine thingy and yes, a cardboard box Xmas Grin
