YANBU - as long as you're sure that it'll be seen!

slavetofilofax · 15/12/2011 20:30

YABU. If your dh is anything like my dh, it would be unreasonable to do anything other than email him the list and hand him a hard copy. It's either that, or get more jewllery I will never wear.

CotherMuckingFunticalChristmas · 15/12/2011 20:43

I tried that.

Dh turned it over and used it as a food shopping list.

reelingintheyears · 15/12/2011 20:48

I shall do it in big red capitals then!

The fuckers will still ignore it.

I gave DH a do not buy list and sent him an email link to things I did want. I suspect I'll be getting things off the do not buy list.

I have a Christmas/ birthday wish list on the computer that gets updated though the year (saddo). It does include everyone in the family though, not just me! DH has an enormous family so I update it whenever anyone mentions something they'd like otherwise there is no way I'd remember. It's been going for 4 years now and DH has got to grips with the whole idea this year.

Amazon wishlist... If you've got Google Chrome (and why wouldn't you?) you can install a button that means you can add stuff from other sites/shops whenever you see them. Click!

Ah yes, the Amazon Wish List. How the actual fuck did I manage before that glorious invention? It even removes stuff that's been bought. Genius.

Now, if only I could get my parents to understand it...
