This story has got me hacked off again.

Why do clothes supposedly made for women look best on a man's body? It's absolutely ridiculous. Why can't designers make clothes that look good on a woman's body? It mgiht eb all about 'art' for them but I don't think it says much for their skill that they can't/don't make clothes that look fantastic on a non-starved woman. AIBU?

Agree - I have reas that there is the assumption that because a lot of designers are gay they design for people without hips and boobs

I separate the "Emperor's New Clothes" from real clothes for real people.

To employ a person with no breasts to model bras is a ludicrous idea.

This has annoyed me for over 20 years. WHy can't these fucking designers design men's clothes if they prefer men's bodies, and let designers who actually like women design women's clothes.

Exactly ruby. They should decide whether they're designing for art or for real life. Mixing the two just isn't working.

I guess men are the logical endgame for skinny models. I have never understood the tyranny of fashion though.
