I know I'll be hungry (and therefore more grumpy) if I don't. But somehow it still feels wrong to cook at 3am...

Sorry I got blinded by the words "Jaffa cake pudding".

Yes you have my blessing Xmas Smile

mydog and caz - have a Jaffa on me! Thanks for blessing - if I had a recipe I'd share it - sadly just meant "is it ok to eat my way through a pack of Jaffa Cakes as a pudding until my baby does wake up". Sadly I hear stirings... Five cakes to go...

YANBU! Do it! I am v pregnant and can often be found eating between the hours of 3 and 4 am.

Grumpla · 15/12/2011 07:19

Hell yes. I quite often used to have a 4am meal snack when DS was wee. Otherwise by the time he settled again and I had finished expressing milk etc I was WIDE AWAKE. I got slightly addicted to cereal bars and dried apricots. But Jaffa cakes sound good too...

I was eating a snicker at 3.30 am this morning and i don't have a small baby as a reason for being awake so yanbu. Im terrible for waking during the night and always keep a secret bar of chocolate in my room for such occasions.

ObviouslyLovesTinsel · 15/12/2011 07:57

I had a slice of soda bread and butter and a cup of tea at 2.30. It cheered me up no end, but I did have to share it with DS the little vulture

startwig1982 · 15/12/2011 07:59

I wish I had Jaffa cakes to eat when I was up feeding at 6 Sad
