I went to the boys' christingle services yesterday (two, identical, one with each boy [grimace]

the usual request NOT to film or take photographs during the performances was made, citing CP issues (I am not personally arsed, but there are several "looked after" and at-risk children in the school so there is probably good reason"

the Head said parents could come up afterwards to take photos of their own children if they wanted to

During the first performance I saw at least 3 people filming the entire performance on their mobiles and one woman, sat right in front of me and obscuring my view, with a bloody camcorder

and then several people in the second performance as well

tbh had there NOT been a request not to, I might have filmed a bit to send to the elderly relatives, but I was a good girl and switched off my phone when asked to!

They are ill-mannered arseholes!
I regularly find myself v.irritated by people who seem to think that restrictions on photography and filming exist purely for them to ignore.

I would have said something to the woman infront of me filming.

There is good reason to ask parents not to film .

I didn't because she looked like the sort of person who would have bellowed at me to fuck off! I was sitting with my friend's 2yo, right next to the band where my other friend's dds were performing, so I didn't want to cause a scene

but I did leave with that slightly "I should have said something" taste in my mouth, that's why I'm posting on here a day later
