I usually have the first a glass at 5pm when cooking dinner

ChristinedePizanne · 14/12/2011 16:51

I'm having one and DS has a friend over to play! Children are so much lower maintenance when they have friends over :o

anneatkins · 14/12/2011 16:52

(it's keeping me warm - as I am here on my own till the Manmeat gets home at half 6, I am being too cheap to put the heating on! It's serving a dual purpose!)

Not at all!

My kids are here and I'm considering a glass, mainly because it will keep me from devouring the box of Heros that are sat to my right!

Cheers! Wine

I'm having one now. Cheers. Xmas Smile

anneatkins · 14/12/2011 16:53

Christine In my (limited) experience of 2 5yo boys and a 4yo girl, kids are lower maintenance when they are at the inlaws and one has glass of wine in hand.

I've run out and don't want to drive in the dark. I suppose I can always look at a picture of a glass.

suntansue · 14/12/2011 17:14

I think a glass of wine at 5pm helps me cook the tea better Grin

Ifancyashandy · 14/12/2011 17:16

I've been putting the tree up. Managed to keep off the booze as am hoping to go to the gym at 6.30. But am struggling. Especially as I went for a swim earlier...

Will.Not.Be.Weak (and it'll still be get when I get home!

aldiwhore · 14/12/2011 17:17

If they serve G+T's on respectable SAGA cruises at 4pm, then you're half an hour late. :)

TattyDevine · 14/12/2011 17:19

You are supposed to

a: Wait till 4:45 and
b: Ship them off first? Confused

Somebody better call social services!!!

JackMatthias · 14/12/2011 17:19

As long as the sun's over the yardarm, it's fine!

reelingintheyears · 14/12/2011 17:21

anneatkins · 14/12/2011 17:22

Jack I did stick my arm out over the yard and the sun did indeed shine upon it, till it clouded over again, that is.
