To think that buyers on ebay have become too fussy in the last year or so?!

I run an ebay business selling clothes. The last year or so I have really noticed buyers being incredibly unreasonable. I am happy to accept returns but I am getting tired of people asking for money off as it's a slightly different shade to the picture, or you can tell it's been worn (used item) or asking for a refund incl return postage on a new item they have already worn as they've found it cheaper elsewhere, aibu?

buyers have sellers over a barrell, everything is in their favour, they can literally hold sellers to ransom. i am a business seller on ebay and a buyer so i see it from both sides, stinks really but still love selling on there..... i hate buyers expecting you to not charge for packaging and mark you down if you do. you are now expected to not charge for packaging and add the cost to a raised start price which really pisses me off as it means we have to pay more (higher start price means higher listing fee grrr)

yes definitely more people complaining as buyers on e bay i have been selling off some of the pottery and old stuff my mom left me, i describe every single little flaw remembering some of the pottery is over a hundred year old, some buyers are lovely but definitely an increase of people wanting to return items because it isnt as pristine brand new looking as they wanted or its half an inch smaller than i measured it at, and its the cheaper end of the market that seem to do disputes and whinge more than the upper end of the market, and uk buyers are the worst overseas buyers seem to have more realistic expectations
