To want a thread devoted to having a bit of a whinge?

Forgive me if there is one already ( and point me at it! ) but I'd love a thread to hop in and have a whinge about stuff that's not important. Such as I'm feeling very fed up today, work sucks and my housemate is in my face - I would just like some space from her. I brushed my teeth this morning and there she was hanging around outside the door, which is a pet hate of mine anyway.

Everything is annoying today. I decided to have a fat sandwich for dinner instead of healthy things and now have heartburn.

Oh good, the thread is still here - I have to wade in and have a massive rant/whine....

Arsing work, arrrrgggghhhh (disclaimer - i spend a large part of my time actively thinking about how lucky I am to still have one) BUT BUT, ARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!

For the second christmas running I've been shafted into covering an entire departments jobs (office) while the other three have the week off and come back after the festivities.

Which means that EVERYTHING is my responsibility, the phones, the paperwork which is time pressured and has to be completed by a certain point or people don't get money they've asked for, e-mail demands, faxes, the laziness of other departments, you name it, muggins is responsible for it.

I am frigging exhausted, have been doing speed admin literally from the minute I step in the place to the minute I can escape.

Wouldn't be so bad if there was actually any reward in it but it's wiping rich investors backsides because they are just oh so much more important than anyone else in the world and couldn't possibly be expected to fill in a form which they've been obliged to complete for the last 6 years (in some cases)

STOP the hell whining at me and phoning me 14.5 minutes after e-mailing me a demand because you haven't had it fulfilled yet

Stop going over my head to my bosses boss to have a pop too, there is only ONE of me and trust me, I don't hang about chatting over coffee and eating biscuits (unlike the rest of the floor) - I will get to you as fast as I can Angry

ONCE, just the ONCE I'd like to have the option of shrugging my shoulders, putting on a gormless face and saying 'i don't know' Some of us don't have the luxury of I don't know, some of us have to go and find out (perish the thought) even if it's something they've never heard of/dealt with because the buck stops with Bibi,

And later in the week I have to meet up with the holiday makers at a pre-arranged lunch and be all breezy and 'oh, you know' or else I'll be the unreasonable grinch.

Wine, lots of wine needed I fear, thank you for starting this thread OP it may well have saved me from telling a few people to take their moneyed unreasonable, holidaying arses where the sun never shines!

I fucking hate turkey. Every tv ad with it makes my mouth wither up just remembering how dry it is. Guess what MIL is serving up this Sunday? There is not enough wine on earth to make me smile through bloody turkey.

Putting my bosoms back then Xmas Grin

coraltoes · 20/12/2011 22:02

Oh and michael buble can fuck off to. Grr.

BibiBlocksberg · 20/12/2011 22:05

Thank you for agreeing they are asswipes Goingforgoal - it helps- a lot!

Coraltoes - you made me laugh (it's the way you write em :))

Sending good luck thoughts your way in the hope something unfortunate happens to the turkey meaning it's not fit for human consumption when you get to Mil's.

Ooh, could you borrow a large dog for the visit and leave him in the kitchen just long enough to give the dry old bird a good licking/chewing?

And then let him loose on the turkey after...sorry, developing weird sense of humour through stress Grin

The cat senses my pain too I think, he keeps trying to groom me, tonight, bless - animals are great Grin
