Forgive me if there is one already ( and point me at it! ) but I'd love a thread to hop in and have a whinge about stuff that's not important. Such as I'm feeling very fed up today, work sucks and my housemate is in my face - I would just like some space from her. I brushed my teeth this morning and there she was hanging around outside the door, which is a pet hate of mine anyway.

Everything is annoying today. I decided to have a fat sandwich for dinner instead of healthy things and now have heartburn.

HairyBeaver · 13/12/2011 16:26

Yay!! i feel the need to moan Xmas Grin Right...

I hate that I have to work stupid breakfast (7-10.30am) and evening (6:30-11pm) shifts doing poxy waitressing/bar work as we can't afford childcare for me to work 9-5 Xmas Angry

I have a pile of school trousers that have been waiting to be taken up since september Xmas Blush I WILL DO THEM TOMORROW!!

The kids are driving me mad, may have to resort to putting them in the cupboard!

Thats all I can think of for now, suppose I should go feed the bratlings before I head off for my 2nd stupid poxy shift at the pub...

bubby64 · 14/12/2011 16:31

DS2 is putting off doing his homework YET AGAIN so DH will go ballistic at him when he comes home and finds it still not done, dog is chasing cats, and they are in turn climbing the Christmas tree and knocking off all the baubles, Still have only got 1 of the kids pressies, as payout from endowment which was due last week still has not arrived in bank account, so skint, and now I have to work Chrismas Day afternoon, as well as Boxing Day and Tuesday, and 30th and 31st! P*ed off!! Xmas Sad

HoHoOpotomus · 14/12/2011 16:35

I'm tired. Why won't my family let me sleep! Whinge whine etc

bojangles · 14/12/2011 16:40

ooh yes a rant/whinge thread - horrible day at work dealing with horribile and rude people, came home to reports from Nanny of children fighting with each other, said children being now rude to me and sent to rooms, neighbours complaining about our extension which is being built and the cat has left a decapitated bird on the front door mat. Large glass of vino now required!
x

wifey6 · 14/12/2011 16:41

Blimey you have early that vino bojangles.

My Son is off school today with sickness bug. Poor baby. Seems a bit better now and even though he is unwell i feel terrible for not giving him food.

Sicky sheets pooey nappies all day :(

TwistedWitch · 14/12/2011 22:22

Ok I think I might have a couple.. Hugely pregnant and waddling (whose great idea was this). Sick of dull, mind numbing housework (what happened to nesting) totally unprepared for due date or Christmas and DP asks me to buy presents for in laws. Not being able to get out of the house because it was so windy I thought ds would actually blow away (missed opportunity?). Not being able to punctuate properly on stupid phone. Electricity bill. Think that covers most of it.

GoingForGoalWeight · 14/12/2011 22:40

:(

Royal Varierty is shyte Xmas Shock

MrsJangleBalls · 14/12/2011 23:14

Skint.

Too much still to do for Christmas.

Kids v. bloody annoying.

Worst is, can't seem to stop myself from shouting at them.

Can you whinge at yourself?

DoesNotGiveAFig · 15/12/2011 10:39

I have just been (deservedly so) put in my place at work. I hate the way it feels though, like I'm five and I've been caught with my hand in the sweetie jar. Sad

Throbbing sinuses - getting a little worse every day ...... Xmas Sad

berylmuspratt · 15/12/2011 12:38

Can I have a whinge, some git has stolen my OHs scooter, I've eaten two fat danish pastries for lunch and I now feel sick!! These two events aren't really related, but I wanted a whinge.

JustGiveMeTheWine · 15/12/2011 12:38

My neighbours keep putting their bin bags at the bottom of MY driveway ready for collection!

I've had to go out there in the p####ing rain to clear up the mess from the birds ripping them open! Angry

DoesNotGiveAFig · 15/12/2011 12:45

MMM danish pastries Grin

fedupofnamechanging · 15/12/2011 13:02

JustGiveMeTheWine, my neighbours in my old house used to do this. I picked it all up and redeposited it on their drives and asked them why they would assume that I am happy to have their bin bags outside of my house. Really made me Xmas Angry

JustGiveMeTheWine · 15/12/2011 13:09

Thats not all they do karma

For some reason they think its acceptable to use a chain saw (Yes, a friggin CHAIN SAW) to cut wood at 9.45pm at night knowing we have a child!

Plus the woman is out at 6am in the back garden every morning talking to her rabbits like babies! The Loon!

VeryLittleGravyOnMeXmasDinner · 15/12/2011 13:10

Carbs are the work of the Devil

Bloody DP has sabotaged my GI diet by getting me Raison and cinnamon bagels for breakfast. His excuse? He didn't think I was serious about it, and "Bagels are low GI anyway...aren't they?"

Bloody man. Just cos he can't keep his paws out of the biscuit barrel and wants to drag me down with him. The bastard even has the audacity to remain thin, no matter how much he eats.

afussyphase · 15/12/2011 13:20

I want to winge about a 9 month old who POOS in the MIDDLE of the NIGHT. At 2-3 am. Huge, leaky, poos, so she needs everything changed. And then she's just oh so awake and only breastmilk will satisfy... slowly... Drives me crazy. DH got scammed buying a phone that turned out to have been stolen (hopefully ebay disputes will help), I broke a tooth, and the house turns out to need a complete rewire. Hmph. Nice thread though, thanks! (VeryLittle: yes yes, men who stay thin no matter what -grrrrrrrr. ).

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 15/12/2011 13:20

Pathetic whinge from me about cluedo....what the feck has happened to it???

I bought it as I want us to play more games as a family rather than sitting round the tv like zombies and when I opened it it was full of things like bloody Scarlett in the Spa (WTF) with the Dumbell!

What the hell happened to Colnel Mustard in the Dining Room with the Lead Piping......there is no bloody dining room now (or Library for that matter) and no bloody lead piping!

Modern World.......feck, take me back to the 80's Xmas Hmm

Rollersara · 15/12/2011 13:34

Managed to get pretty much NO sleep last night as 31 weeks pg so have had to take day off as too tired to drive and have mobility problems so also very likely to injure myself. DP has left living room in such a state I don't want to go in there in case I fall over so no tv AND I'm missing the work Christmas party this afternoon. And I have heartburn.

JustGiveMeTheWine · 15/12/2011 13:46

Also soon I will have to leave my lovely warm home to do the school run, and my DD is always last to come out of the door!

phyllisdiller · 15/12/2011 13:55

I would like to have a whinge about the fact that getting the DC's better from sick bugs, colds and coughs seems to be like painting the forth bridge...as soon as I get one better another one is ill. I only have 3 DC's but we are are sickness in a row number 5! FFS!!!!

I would also like to complain about the fact that my father is also at home ill, I called to speak to my Mum...but she was busy making his lunch apparently so could not come to the phone. It was nice to speak to him, but does he not realise that sometimes I just NEED to speak to my Mum!!!!!

I would also like to make an advance complaint about the fact that DH will probably be floating round the house on Saturday with a hangover.

Thank you.

Panadbois · 15/12/2011 14:27

I have been ironing ALL day, and I've just put another load on to wash. It's never ending. Why I bother I don't know cos as soon as the clothes go into DS and DD's rooms they'll be all any where except in their right places.

My uncle has been diagnosed with stomach cancer today after going in and out of hospital for two years. I want to hug my DM but she lives too far away Sad

I'm spending too much.

GoingForGoalWeight · 15/12/2011 15:27

I've got a headache now, first one for a few years.

IT'S COLD BRRRRRRRRR

Advance whinge, boirng weekend ahead - yet another :(
