Forgive me if there is one already ( and point me at it! ) but I'd love a thread to hop in and have a whinge about stuff that's not important. Such as I'm feeling very fed up today, work sucks and my housemate is in my face - I would just like some space from her. I brushed my teeth this morning and there she was hanging around outside the door, which is a pet hate of mine anyway.

Everything is annoying today. I decided to have a fat sandwich for dinner instead of healthy things and now have heartburn.

Can I join? I want to whinge that it took 3 visits to 2 post offices, before I managed to post 6 parcels and 6 cards to Ireland, which cost me £34. 04! Vouchers for all of them next year!

Groovee · 12/12/2011 17:47

I burnt the tea :-(

EmpireBiscuit · 12/12/2011 17:54

My DH just called me short, I mean it's true I am only 5'2" but have had a bad day and think it was unnecessary!!

Firawla · 12/12/2011 17:56

i was really annoyed today some patients boyfriend decided to have a go at me in the drs waiting room about my dc sitting nearby to him, and basically just bc of them being in the waiting room (ok they can be a bit annoying ds1 never shuts up and ds2 kept trying to escape out the front door) but they were not misbehaving and if they do anything wrong i pull them up on it, but obviously 3 kids 3yrs and younger waiting around for about an hour total, is gonna be boring for them. this guy didnt even have an apt himself, only for his girlfriend! atleast the gf apologised for him but ffs if people cant handle being in public places with others then stay at home!
my poor ds1 had smashed his head on the pavement, sooo much blood! but luckily he is fine, he was really brave so did not need some idiot moaning at us
and now ds3 seems grumpy, he has had his injetions today so lets hope he doesnt get temperature and ill!
then this afternoon had workmen round which is good getting the work done but on the other hand annoying keeping dc away from the tools and wet paint etc is just so much more effort than normally can just l;eave them to play a bit
and i am tired and moody and no idea what time dh will be coming home this evening, not expecting likely before 11 or 12ish so i hope ds3 does feel ok and settle to sleep cos i just can not be doing with it today!!
also we have not much food in as i need to do a big order from tesco or sainsbury so that is also annoying!!

thanks for starting the thread op, always helps to have a moan!

GoingForGoalWeight · 12/12/2011 23:18

If i lose that remote T.V control once more,,,,,,,,,,Xmas Angry

Sudaname · 12/12/2011 23:33

Thats why its called a 'remote' Going - its always in a 'remote' place and you havent got the 'remotest' idea where it is. Grin

...sorry - I'll just go now ok.

GoingForGoalWeight · 12/12/2011 23:38
Xmas Grin

Love it! :)

grumpydwarf · 12/12/2011 23:44

I want to whinge about spending a fourth day waiting in for royal mail to deliver a parcel for them to not turn up then put me on hold when I phone then cut me off after twenty mins on phone! When I phoned back spoke to someone else with very bad english who couldn't even find my complaint! Arghh royal mail ps if the very nice lady I spoke to the other day is on here sorry I was mean and cried had a stinking cold n snotty baby. None of this would have happened had the fat lab not eaten the something came for u note :(

startail · 12/12/2011 23:59

Washing!
And DH working from home. Washing machines under his desk. This is clearly a bad arrangement.
We could redo the kitchen and move the washer or we could go on holiday. You can guess what has won for about the last 8 yearsGrin

mockingjay · 13/12/2011 01:48

Ooooh a whinging thread! I would like to moan about the fact that the time until I leave to see my family for Christmas is (a) taking so long to pass (impatient), and (b) is going so quickly (too much to do).

Do I win the prize for the most pointless moan [frgin]

Also I am REALLY sick of emptying the dishwasher. I empty it, turn around and it magically needs emptying again!

mockingjay · 13/12/2011 01:50

Thought of another one. Why do my jeans NEVER fit? I have tried buying posh ones from posh shops and everything. If they're big enough that I can physically put them on after a wash, they are always hanging off me by the end of the day. Grr.

wifey6 · 13/12/2011 08:17

Good morning lovely moaners...can I join please! I am shattered after 5 days & nights of caring for my poorly DS. He is teething with multiple teeth..sore throat & a cold. He doesn't want his daddy so mummy is the only one who can do anything/everything! I know it is all part of being a mummy. What annoys me is DH snoring happily on the sofa while I am being sneezed on...kicked & unable to sleep with DS in our bed.

Gracie123 · 13/12/2011 09:55

Mocking jay, then jeans thing hacks me off too.

BlackCatinaSantaHat · 13/12/2011 10:15

Another one here who has trouble with jeans.

I really need a whinge today :(

  1. DD will not stop tormenting the cat (chasing the poor thing everywhere.)
  2. The weather is so cold here today, I would just love to go back to bed but can't,
3.I need a shower but will only get one if I can persuade DD to play in her bedroom.
  1. School told us there were no after school clubs this week but then we arrive at school only to find that there is a guitar lesson so I have to go back home to get guitar in effect doing the school run twice! with toddler in towSad
  2. I haven't had enough sleep for the past 8 years due to lovely DC waking me almost every night and DH snoring.
6.My DM lives with a complete arse of a man who likes to make life as difficult as possible. 7.I am not ready for Christmas in more ways than one.
  1. I have to go out later but really would rather stay indoors in the warm.
Gracie123 · 13/12/2011 10:59

Elizabeth, I refuse to accept parcels for neighbours unless they have specifically requested it.

What if it was something they had planned to refuse delivery for?

Either way, I'm not chasing them down to come get their crap out of my porch Grin

fedupofnamechanging · 13/12/2011 11:00

I am overdrawn (again) and it is a long time until pay day.

Also, I have pulled a muscle in my arse (don't know how - sitting down is hardly strenuous). This is therefore considered funny and not worthy of sympathy from my darling family.

Firawla · 13/12/2011 11:02

my work man was supposed to come before 10am, he only just came now so i have missed my toddler group while waiting in for him, annoying

wifey6 · 13/12/2011 11:09

Back again....my DH has now enrolled on a short college course...although pleased for him...its another night he is not around to help with our DS or us spend time together. He has the fitness gym 3 nights a week...visits his family 2 nights a week & as I work weekends there never seems to be enough time to spend together or a as family. Sad

GoingForGoalWeight · 13/12/2011 11:10

I've got TONS of housework to do before school closes for Christmas on Friday. I FECKING HATE IT

HATE IT Xmas Sad

pepperrabbit · 13/12/2011 11:14

I know MILs have been done to death, but mine is driving me up the wall.
Careful Christmas planning to enable FIL and step-MIL to have lunch Xmas Eve with us, nice firewall trip to crib service after they've gone, then MIL comes over for Christmas Eve dinner.
But no, she discovers FIL & SMIL will be here, it's her Christmas, so she has to come to lunch too. WTF.
Now I face the Xmas eve from hell with 2 old ladies, who should know better, fighting over a man who divorced one of them 20 years ago. Xmas Angry
She only lives 5 minutes down the road, but she has to come and stay apparently, forcing major re-arrangement of the kids and putting me in a Very Bad Mood Indeed.
Phew, that feels better!

AReindeerCalledHorse · 13/12/2011 12:32

Afternoon moaners! Hope everyones day improves soon!

Still waiting for the parcel, back on the van apparently.

GoingForGoalWeight · 13/12/2011 12:40

Still done sod all in this filth hole house.

Housework just needs to keep being done over and over..it's pointless but i have come to a point where something absolutely needs to be done.

Moan. moan, moan, i'm addicted to MN now.

FFS it's one thing after another with me.

OOhhh grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Suppose i'd better get started soon and not stop (much) until it's sweet smelling. fresh in here again.

I HATE HOUSEWORK/CLEANING it is mindnumbing shyte like my posts are becoming.

I'm not apologising either

HMMMMPH

DoesNotGiveAFig · 13/12/2011 12:45

Hallo all, same sentiment as AReindeer to you all!

I have a mountain of tasks to do that is overwhelming

OP posts:
ReebleBeeble · 13/12/2011 14:22

Feeling miserable that despite planning for the last 3 months to visit my family 150 miles away, we now have no money left in the account and it'll be another 6 months before I get to see them again. My DD is nearly one and has met my family a grand total of 4 times in her life.

I get to see PIL every other forking day though... Xmas Hmm

mockingjay · 13/12/2011 15:43

Pleased (well, sort of!) to see I'm not the only one with jeans issues. It's so annoying because jeans are what I need to wear for work (due to job). Might as well wear a bin liner really.

Also, I blocked my toilet this morning. So got that to look forward to on getting home. yippee!

Did have a little smile at pepperrabbits fighting old ladies though! Which one will you let sit in the front sit Xmas Grin
