At last a reason not to avoid Bracknell like the plague. And the customers are plebbier than the Sunningdale ones. Which is nice.

For a start the customers might be more plebeian than those at Sunningdsale but you have adveryised that the Waitrose is thre so more upgrade people with money will start to go as well.

There's a big one at Reading, anyway, not so far away from Bracknell. didn't you kow it was there?.

IneedAChristmasNickname · 07/12/2011 17:20

grovel · 07/12/2011 17:28

Gah, Envy!
I wish we had a Waitrose in Belfast...

CrotchFlakes · 07/12/2011 17:32

Being thrilled by anything in Bracknell is a shocker Shock

SoupDragon · 07/12/2011 17:33

YABU. It's a supermarket, calm down.

ChippyMinton · 07/12/2011 17:35

I can't believe there wasn't one before - aren't Waitrose based in Bracknell?

We have one in "Staines-On-Thames" dontcha know?

Vicky2011 · 07/12/2011 19:52

Where is it in Brackers Grovel? Not in the dodgy estate area where there used to be one? I love going to the Sunningdale one and lowering the tone but would also would quite like one where I'm not the only person without a 4x4 and where all the blokes aren't wearing red jeans.

slavetofilofax · 07/12/2011 19:55

What Crotch said.

I hate Bracknell.

Too many roundabouts.

MabelLucyAttwell · 07/12/2011 19:56

There used to be one at Birch Hill, a Bracknell suburb.

IgnoringTheChildren · 07/12/2011 19:57

There's no convenient Waitrose where I am but I wouldn't go back to Bracknell for anything (and Reading really isn't any better!)

Chippy there did used to be a Waitrose in Bracknell. Don't know when it closed but it was rather ironic that there wasn't a store there. I expect someone who knows more will have told you before I've finished typing - I'm soooo slow on the phone. :)

IgnoringTheChildren · 07/12/2011 19:59

Oh there are definitely too many roundabouts! What were the town planners thinking?

foosty · 07/12/2011 20:01

we got a waitrose a few months ago.

It is so quiet.

Then last month we got a WHOLE FOODS.

It is the work of the GODS.

RustyBear · 07/12/2011 20:11

There's one in Wokingham too...

PerUnaBomber · 07/12/2011 20:13

There's one in Littlehampton, FGS! There's never anyone in there when I go!
