She eats jam doughnuts in a bowl with hot custard. That's weird right?

I used to love McFlurry and chips

MenopausalHaze · 03/12/2011 22:47

What? Together? shock]

ItchyChinUnderMyWhiteBeard · 03/12/2011 22:51

Ahem.. new varient perhaps?

ItchyChinUnderMyWhiteBeard · 03/12/2011 22:52

That was supposed to link to a Brown Derby by the way (not a pesky Eskimo Waffle!)

Yama · 03/12/2011 22:53

I don't think there exists a cake or pudding that custard doesn't make nicer.

Therefore YABU.

Menopausal not stoned Blush just something I tried one day as I don't like ketchup.
There's something about the salty fries and sweet ice cream... (drifts off and drools)

whattodoo · 03/12/2011 23:06

I can't think why she wouldn't warm the doughnuts first?

But, that said, she's definitely someone after my own heart. And the poster above who suggested apple doughnuts also merits an award for brilliance.
the custard is surely made with birds powder, I'm guessing. Anything else would be wrong.

meala · 03/12/2011 23:11

OOh!!! McFlurry and chips! Amazing combinations. My DC think I'm a bit weird when I do this but it's fab. I thought I was alone in the world of chips and ice cream Xmas Grin

TheSmallClanger · 03/12/2011 23:18

Apple doughnuts smothered in butterscotch or caramel sauce. I am going to make that this week.

tinkertitonk · 04/12/2011 00:33

OP, you've omitted a crucial detail: where were the doughnuts and custard being consumed? If in the kitchen then this is merely a tale of ordinary squalor. If in the bedroom then you are a pair of perverts and should put the clip on Youtube.

tigerlillyd02 · 04/12/2011 00:36

Wow, thanks for the fantastic idea! Grin

SaggyoldCHRISTMASHUMBUGcatpuss · 04/12/2011 00:37

Has nobody ever heard of custard filled doughnuts?? scrumptious!

Goodynuff · 04/12/2011 00:40

that is why a boston cream rocks; donought, custard and chocolate all wrapped up in a neat little package Grin

Jux · 04/12/2011 01:27

Bother, I finished a bag of doughnuts today. I could have made custard, but I didn't think of it.....

maypole1 · 04/12/2011 01:29

I think she is a legend

sunnydelight · 04/12/2011 01:33

Yes, she is a genius.

MrsRhettButler · 04/12/2011 01:36

Disgusting!

Goodynuff Envy

Jam donut & custard - what's not to love?!

reelingintheyears · 04/12/2011 03:53

Sounds fucking lush.

You're the weird one!

Spermysextowel · 04/12/2011 04:03

I'm going to have to rethink my Xmas trifle; I'm seeing doughnuts; I'm seeing jam; custard. And some boozy business. Clearly not sherry. Any ideas?

Framboise maybe?

HughBastard · 04/12/2011 04:49

Mmmmmm what a brilliant combination.

GwendolineMaryLacedwithBrandy · 04/12/2011 05:04

Twixes work really well with custard too...so I'm told...

mathanxiety · 04/12/2011 05:24

It sounds so wrong but so completely right...

Danish and custard might be yum too. Or pain au chocolate.
A world of possibilities opens up.

FellatioNelson · 04/12/2011 05:41

I think she might be onto something. The more I think about it the better it sounds.
