To think that Pringles have gone completely OTT with the flavour on the salt and vin ones?

Says 'New Bursting with more flavour'

They are inedible, so bloody strong. We can't eat 'em. Thought is may just be one odd pack but they are all like it.

Are you with me or aibu?

YABU for eating Pringles in the first place. They're very high in fat.

Catsmamma · 03/12/2011 20:35

I like them usually...love that eyewateringburnoffyourface vinegariness.

but I have not had a pringle for ages though.

Sparklingbaubles · 03/12/2011 20:36

You are right. They are horrible. Sticking with the red tube!

tyler80 · 03/12/2011 20:36

YABU

Salt and Vinegar pringles used to be great, if you ate too many they actually killed the skin on your lips, then they went all weak. Glad to hear they've strengthened them again. May have to get some and test them out Grin

squeakytoy · 03/12/2011 20:36

YABU for just liking pringles. They are the vilest, most disgusting food that I can think of. Grin

Millicano · 03/12/2011 20:37

yes, reds remain quite plain.

I suppose aibu for eating them with all that fat content, but have given up the fags and need to supplement the crave with something. Will move on to my stash of galaxy counters instead.

YABU. There is no such thing as overboard with salt and vinegar. Most crisps don't have nearly enough on them. If Pringles are as strong as you say, I may get some, even though I try to boycott P&G for being mean to bunnies.

TysTheSeasonToBeJolly · 03/12/2011 20:39

Ooh brilliant, pringles are back how they should be Xmas Grin
I did not realise the fat content was that bad though Xmas Hmm

Sparklingbaubles · 03/12/2011 20:39

I hope they don't test the Pringles on bunnies. Angry

Millicano · 03/12/2011 20:39

Honestly, they have lifted the skin on the roof of my mouth and my tongue is rather sore from them.

If you like seriously strong salt and vin, then try them. I don't think you will likey, even the hardest bastards out there will have met their match.,

Hurts the corners of my mouth. Have recently rediscovered Bacon Fries though. yum.

Millicano · 03/12/2011 20:42

per 100g of pringle there is 32 grams of fat Shock and 0.91 g of salt (that is alot isn't it?)

Sparklingbaubles · 03/12/2011 20:43

Yes-that's not good Millicano. You need to find a new snack. Sad

waterlego6064 · 03/12/2011 20:45

Mmmmmm. I'm with Annie- the stronger the better. I remember about 10 years ago eating a whole tube of the Pringles S&V and licking the deliciously salty vinegary dust off each one (it isn't just me who does this, is it?) Not only did my lips turn white, my tongue did too and then it actually bled. Very lightly, but bleed it did. Shock

Millicano · 03/12/2011 20:46

well to make matters worse, i have looked at the packet of galaxy counters and for every 100g there is 29.1 g of fat.

My sat night is ruined Sad Am heading to the kitchen for something thin to eat now.

Mmmm...if the salt and vinegar are too much for you, try the new spag bol flavour! YUM!

Millicano · 03/12/2011 20:54

Are they? May try them.

Seriously, have you SMELT the packet of the prawn cocktail ones. I stuck my nose in ds's pot of them today and it was truly honksome. Couldn't eat one after that whiff. They are actually quite lovely, but the stench has put me right off. They are on offer for a quid in tesco at the moment, which is why I have ended up with so many packs.

HandMini · 03/12/2011 20:58

No, wld not go for prawn cocktail, but spag bol....mmmm, have just scoffed half a tube.

cocoachanneloffestivecheer · 03/12/2011 21:00

Definitely another vote for the stronger the better.

'They're very high in fat'. Yes, but also a treat food!

LottieJenkins · 04/12/2011 17:03

Dont know about the salt and vinegar ones but the sour cream and onions are definetly hotter. My lips are tingling after eating some!!!

lborolass · 04/12/2011 17:06

Whatever you do don't try the new spicy sour cream and onion, one of the best flavours has been totally ruined. I can't believe anyone would enjoy them.

LottieJenkins · 04/12/2011 17:15

Thats what i ate!!

Sparklingbaubles · 04/12/2011 17:17

Why do they have to mess with the flavours? Leave them alone!
