I'd get dressed. But that's probably just me.

Gargula · 03/12/2011 14:30

In fact I don't think I've ever spent a day in my PJs in my adult life. I'd feel dirty.

oflip · 03/12/2011 14:30

Don't get dressed! It will ruin the vibe of your lovely slobby day Grin

((sits in pj's making an imprint in the sofa as i'm moving that little Wink))

TidyDancer · 03/12/2011 14:31

I think if it was first thing in the morning, fine. But it's the afternoon. I think you should probably get dressed.

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 03/12/2011 14:32

I'm still in my PJs, as are DH and DS Grin
I wouldnt :)

valiumredhead · 03/12/2011 14:33

I'd get dressed BUT really gargula?? - we have jama days all the time - they are FAB!! I still have a shower/wash and I have clean jamas every day so not dirty.

Jamas are sooooooooooooo comfy :)

oflip · 03/12/2011 14:33

reason being is that its been the most busy week, non stop, so i just want to cabbage today.

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 03/12/2011 14:33

In fact, I'm going to go and have a shower in a minute and just put clean jammies on Grin

LadyBeagleBaublesAndBells · 03/12/2011 14:34

I wouldn't bother changing myself OP.
I love a pyjama day, just answer the door as you are.
It is the weekend after all.

Gargula · 03/12/2011 14:34

I think I have a psychological issue about getting showered and dressed in the morning. I just feel uncomfortable until I've done it.

I'm all for lazy days in front of the TV, but I have to be dressed first!

oflip · 03/12/2011 14:35

YAY!! Mumsnet has slobs like meeee Grin

valiumredhead · 03/12/2011 14:35

You need to unclench Gargula Wink

LaurieFairyCake · 03/12/2011 14:37

I spend all weekend in my pj's and get into them when I get home from work (sometimes as early as 4).

I like being comfy, there's nothing nicer than being who you really are in your own home.

I garden in my pj's and have even been known to sling my wellies and coat over them to do the allotment/walk the dog.

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 03/12/2011 14:38

We are all watching Waynes World Grin

camilla2010 · 03/12/2011 14:38

Don't get dressed just open the garage before he gets there and ask him to call you when he is finished and then go out and lock the garage - no need to see him??

valiumredhead · 03/12/2011 14:38

Ahhhhhhhh I am among my people Grin

Gargula · 03/12/2011 14:39

Ha ha valium - you're probably right.
Ironically enough I'm completely lax about the rest of my appearance (no makeup, not fussed about hair) - but I must be showered and dressed in the morning.

ICanTuckMyBoobsInMyPockets · 03/12/2011 14:39

Don't get dressed! You'll feel awkward and resentful! Stick to your guns!

FredFredGeorge · 03/12/2011 14:39

Of course you don't need to get dressed... YAPBU for having your heating turned up so high that you don't need a slanket too...

startail · 03/12/2011 14:40

Our post lady got treated to my night shirt this morning. Post about 12pm I'd tend to chuck on my slobby velour tracksuit.

oflip · 03/12/2011 14:40
