So dh has taken my brother to try and figure out what is going on to his accommodation (there is background to this and other threads explaining but I can't link as im on the
Mn app sorry).

But before he went though MIL unexpectedly dumped her 4 youngest horrors darlings here (they're between 7 and 12). I have nothing to feed them, nowhere to go (can't take then out as they don't behave), they're winding ds up and fighting with each other.

I cannot shake my awful bad mood and its all doing my head in. Aarrgghh!!!!

your mil sounds rude, id drop them back to her and tell her it is not convienient to you.

daveywarbeck · 03/12/2011 12:51

Why did you let her?

Give them chores to do. Seriously - equip with dusters and j cloths and supervise them cleaning the house. I would.

She's an hours drive away by now and she has form for this (my favourite was when I was 12 hours post birth and she left her 5 and 7 year olds in the hospital with me for an hour).

Sick to fucking death of being responsible for other peoples children. So sorry for using mumsnet to rant all the time but I've got noone else to talk to.

Well I could have guessed she's got form for this sort of thing. She's got form because you let her do it.

Have you handed out the dusters yet?
