and to have sabotaged my early night?

Ten month old sleep is horrendous. I needed a treat before bed. Caffeine now keeping me awake.

Less am I being unreasonable, more am I really THAT stupid?

YANBU at all. Chocolate is full of goodness. The important thing is to buy really good chocolate to cook with.

oreocrumbs · 01/12/2011 22:23

Definatly Unreasonable - you should have had thw WHOLE bar Wink

PoppadumPreach · 01/12/2011 22:24

well done.

PoppyDoolally · 01/12/2011 22:29

Cheers ladies.

Problem is I'm lying here awake in bed. For the past hour and a half. And I'm now tempted to go downstairs and finish that flippin bar.

(it's green and blacks- does that help?). Wink

Oh god my 10 month old is relentless. Have raided Lidl tonight. Many chocolate treats. Plus the scrapings of cooking choc in a bowl from the truffles I made on Sunday. Mmm.

ShengdanRoad · 02/12/2011 00:22

Gross. Do you want to be fat as well as tired?

IteotYEARawki · 02/12/2011 02:28

You are only being unreasonable if it was specifically sold as "cooking chocolate". On the grounds that chocolate is like wine - you should only use it in cooking if you're also prepared to eat / drink it on its own.

Always cook with Dairy Milk personally :)

Oh and Shengdan - here - Biscuit fresh from the oven :)
