Slightly annoyed at my not so organised ex manager! Have 2 jobs, one was a contracted 6 months mat cover for a friend, just cleaning for a few hrs, 5 nights a wk. It's been a bit of a slog as I got another job 2 wks after that but Im so glad as we've really needed the money. The cleaning job has become quite difficult to keep up as its in a different area but managed to get it done and had my last day yesterday! Posted my keys for surgery through letterbox when I locked up, today I get a voicemail msg from this manager who wants to know why I've handed my keys in and she didn't realise I was leaving! I've also just got a txt msg to say 'sorry, we want you to stay on til march, didnt realise you thought your last day was yesterday!'.
It's really irritating as my original contract was lost so I had to sign another one (and it's still in the kitchen where I left it!), this was only a few weeks ago and also I had to bring in my own cleaning stuff to get the job done regularly as when I asked for things eg floor cleaner, bin bags etc it took ages to get it! Also she rang me up on monday about my wages, there was no mention of me extending my contract. Is it me who think's it's a bit rude to just presume someone will stay on at a job, a lot can happen in 6 months surely?!!
I'm sorry ladies, I'm ranting! But I'm just Hmm

bit presumptious yes but if you don't want the job just don't go back, theres plenty of people out there that do!

She probably assumed that, like most people, you were glad of the job and wanted to keep it. Hmm
