Sals interesting thread of a few days ago made me think of the things MN brings out in you (I've taken off the 'not very nice' bit of Sals title, because I'm sure you're all lovely, lovely people so can only hope some of the more abrasive posters will spill )

It's not too bad, but I do skim read more than I should and so end up either getting the wrong end of the stick or missing out a crucial point of the OP Blush

I try not to indulge in drunken posting, but maybe don't try hard enough sometimes Grin and unlike a night out at the pub the hard evidence Never. Goes. Away.

I make much more of an effort to stay away from MN if I'm in an arse, it's sometimes be a bit too easy to dump on some poor unsuspecting OP for asking a stoopid question thinking they can have a nice chat on AIBU asking about their MIL.

AIBU to think MN drags everyone down to plumb the depths?

Speed reading gets me into trouble as I have a dirty mind Blush

daveywarbeck · 01/12/2011 20:49

I've started using the word cunt, I never did before. I blame you lot.

I'm nowhere near as right wing or absolutist in my opinions as I come across on here, but the ambivalent posting of many MNers leads me to think if some people were any more broad minded they would struggle to fit through doors.

I FBed in the manner of MNing the other day and ended up having a massive row with one of my brother's friends on his wall. Fortunately the friend was a twat so I don't really feel bad about it, but it wasn't really very well done.

Fuzzynavel is quite a kant

This was said about me today and didn't mind one bit.

Was a bit peeved and the spelling though Grin

AgentZigzag · 01/12/2011 22:56

Kant sounds dead posh, it was a compliment fuzzy Grin

Although not exactly a stranger to swearing, my dh was a bit affronted recently when I mentioned that someone (not him incidentally!) should fuck off to the far side of fuck! And I do find the word 'fuckwittery' comes to my mind a lot Grin

whataruddymess · 01/12/2011 23:14

Oh yes, when you put it like that Agent, I'm suddenly feeling very proud [grin}

whataruddymess · 01/12/2011 23:17

oh and I get rather animated and never check what I've written before sending, grrrr

AgentZigzag · 01/12/2011 23:29

Or whether you have the right MN name for the thread whataruddymess? (if that's you fuzzy) Grin
