To be surprised at the lack of inappropriate snacks at baby group

today we visited the local sure start centre,

The toys were clean and unbroken,

There were no jam sandwiches,

I didn't even get a sniff of a chocolate finger

The other parents were lovely and not at all rough

None of the parents seemed to be in a clique

None of the children smacked or pinched each other. (although I'm sure they will)

And ds3 8 months was not even offered a whole grape

AIBU to think some of the threads on here could put new parents off visiting ss centres when obviously some of them are lovely

How disappointing for you.

Not yet but it is the christmas party in two weeks so maybe a party ring or two will put in an appearance then

(hopes so, I like a party ring and occasional chocolate finger)
