I'd ask the babysitter

squeakytoy · 30/11/2011 10:56

If you have a babysitter arriving, they should leave anyway, unless she is meant to be looking after 4 children.

ggirl · 30/11/2011 10:57

he's only just started babysitting for us and I know he'll say he doesn't mind
my gut feeling is it isn't fair on him to have other kids in the house to look after
ds 9 btw

santastooearlymustdache · 30/11/2011 10:58

yes, send them home

imagine how the babysitter will feel having 3 extras to look after?

Nanny0gg · 30/11/2011 10:59

He's not being paid to look after the others.
How old are they all?

ggirl · 30/11/2011 11:00

9,8,8 and 10

OP posts:
G1nger · 30/11/2011 11:01

Send them home.

NinkyNonker · 30/11/2011 11:02

Send them home! You're not paying him to take care of 4.

Nanny0gg · 30/11/2011 11:06

And is he old enough to cope?

coccyx · 30/11/2011 11:07

Time to go!

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 30/11/2011 11:08

They will sniff out his weakness and gang up on him. Send them home!

rushofbloodtothefeet · 30/11/2011 11:09

Imagine the AIBU posts that could come out of this

AIBU that DS was left with a random male babysitter when his friends mum went off to have her nails painted

PattySimcox · 30/11/2011 11:10

Send them home, you may end up loosing a good babysitter forever otherwise

ggirl · 30/11/2011 11:11

am sending home

and going to work not getting my nails done unfortunately

Winkly · 30/11/2011 11:17

Definitely send them home.

In my babysitting days I looked after a well behaved 9 year old who would watch a film with me then go to bed. I was paid next to nothing so was livid when I was suddenly presented with the mother's nephews, aged 5 &2, very - ahem - "energetic", and for no extra money.

chrimblycompo · 30/11/2011 11:19

yes end them home

totally unfair on the babysitter

have they got adults at home? you could have saved yourself some money by having their kids in the morning and them having your ds in the afternoon

Salmotrutta · 30/11/2011 11:21

They will sniff out his weakness and gang up on him - that made me snort out loud Grin

So very true .... Grin

Appuskidu · 30/11/2011 11:32

I'd send them home now! Who is the babysitter-is it someone coming so you can go to work? If they are a 15 year old, then that's far too many unexpected additions (I presume you won't be tripling the amount you give them?)
