To get annoyed at sister more or less calling DH stupid on Facebook status?

DH reposted one of those chain status things about the government banning the word christmas because it was offensive to minorities and that british people should be able to celebrate our religion and cultures without worrying about upsetting minorities and we should be proud of being British etc.

Any my sister has just uploaded a status saying "nobody is banning christmas, think some people need to stop believing everything they read in the sun".

This is blatently a passive aggressive dig at DH. AIBU to call her up on it and tell her to delete it?

I hate facebook with a passion and it really is for idiots (Judgemental I know).

How many arguments has facebook spawned?

How many people has it directly hurt with it's long stretchy fingers of pervasive fondue type get to know you agenda?

I can't think of any mitigating circumstances. Probably wouldn't have done the PA thing, so i'd aske her to delete it and write "DH is definitely a twat" on his wall :o

Judging by her nn, I'm guessing OP longs to be whisked away from her perceived view of the UK: immigrant-ridden - down the toilet, turn the lights out when you leave. I did once start a unanimous AIBU (everyone agreed I wasn't BU). It's one of my proudest achievements.

What I want to know is, if the whole entire population of Mumsnet knows this sort of 'repost if you're a barely concealed racist' status is unacceptable, why the hell do most of my extended family people still repost the shite?
