Really? I can't remember my DD doing that.
Could you just lay her on a towel or something so she can free poo?

OhTheConfusion · 28/11/2011 14:09

Really.

She seems to feel relieved then nod off. She dosn't struggle to go so no real need to lay her on a towel and also we were getting ready to go out when it happened this morning (for the umpteenth time this week) so she was ready to go.

Just can't stand the idea of her being soiled and leaving her (as one fellow mum suggested earlier!)

I am actually smiling at the idea of an 22 WO grinning to herself and thinking 'thank goodness I got that dump out, I can have a kip now'.
Don't blame you for not wanting her to sleep in it. I know I wouldn't.

Mine used to do that... annoying!

Shutupanddrive · 28/11/2011 14:23

Ds2 used to do that, i couldn't leave it. Sometimes used to sleep through the changing though!

OhTheConfusion · 28/11/2011 14:24

So glad it's not just my DD then!

The little darling has just done it again and now that she is all cleaned up she is also wide awake... it's a good job she's so cute!

I used to leave dd if she was happy enough. She never napped long and a dirty bum wouldn't bother her. I couldn't leave ds though - he's got really sensitive skin. If your dd hasn't I think she would thank you more for leaving her to kip - but that's just my opinion.

I know, some how waking a sleeping baby always seams wrong, I remember trying to do it without waking her, but it never worked
