Watching 'MasterChef' now. I have a thing for beards and anyone men who can cook so he's ticking my box so to speak. He went through a stage of looking alarmingly pale and ill but looks healthier now, may have been on the sunbeds

We like Monica the best too, she makes 'professional MC' the best of the MC competitions. DP is slightly enthralled and probably a bit scared.

Isn't Michel a pretty extreme marathon runner (or am I getting my Chefs mixed up...) so he might look a bit wirey, but he's definitely FIT with STAMINA.... I tend to rate my chefs on how badly they perform on Saturday Kitchen's omlette challenge. The longer and more sensual they are in the omlette making department, the more I fancy them for the morning after feast. This is not a failsafe test. Can't recall where Michel has been placed in that.....

Yes Jinx, he's a marathon man and said he's addicted to running. I remember him being a guest on a Derren Brown show about 6-7 years ago - he seemed really lovely. Derren Brown is one of my pin-ups too so that was a particularly thrilling watch

And Monica's exaggerated mugging gives me the pip. Also, speaking as a woman with similarly cropped barnet, she has no idea how to style hers. It looks like she uses goose fat for hair wax.

I don't care about Monica's hair or bad acting (and she's only copying Greg), as she's a chef not a performer. I like that she is utterly competent and acts with complete authority, while being fair, calm and not feeling the need to exaggerate (apart from the facial expressions, true) or ingratiate herself with anyone.

Josie I was only teasing about the word 'tasty'. But Derren Brown? Isn't he in the same category as Cliff Richard in the realms of creepiness?

Absolutely love Monica - she's extremely brilliant and I love how she acts with complete authority, no simpering or eyelash-fluttering for her. She's very fair and never totally trashes anyone's cooking, even when it's awful. And she's not slow to praise when she feels it's deserved. And yes she is very pretty, beautiful skin

He's not particularly in the know or anything, just a right old gossip and loves his showbiz-shit-stirring websites. Yeah, apparently GR was caught in a compromising position after hours at work a few years ago. I didn't believe it when he told me, but actually, there may be something to it..... All sorts of strange things going on with his wife and her family etc etc, something doesn't add up. And I find all the 'come on big boy' schtick a bit of macho overkill
