be hurtful to anyone left out.

And unfortunately, because of the large numbers of MNers, there are inevitably going to be lots of lovely lovely posters who don't get a mention. (btw, I would love to have a Brew with all those who kindly mentioned me, annd loads more too).

I wouldn't mind betting that every regular has done that at some point though CY. They might not admit it though.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 07:48

I hope your post (on wrong quiche thread) was a refernce to girl parts in quiche and not moi, fellatio Grin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 07:50

Not on wrong quiche thread..serves me right for posting 1 min after waking

FellatioNelson · 23/11/2011 07:53

Why of course it was Fanjo! You and I can empathise on the downsides of having a name that occasionally forms unfortunate phrases! Grin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 08:17

Grin when I first saw the post, through bleary eyes I was Shock then I was Grin

See, wot I have noticed, is that if a thread about quiches of any kind is started, all the regs turn up and it ends up as a so-called quiche anyway. Always. It's like a science thing.

I don't actually know any MNers in RL. You all live inside my laptop.

BecauseImWorthIt · 23/11/2011 08:57

That's what all the cookies are for, Sarah.

SarahStratton · 23/11/2011 08:59

Makes total sense to me. Grin

FellatioNelson · 23/11/2011 09:26

LeQueen is right, and you can flit between different groups and back again, and go through phases, but ultimately you have to stick at it with the same group of people for a while to make any impact - you can't just expect people to throw their arms around you after they've seen you post a handful of three liners, two weeks apart. Speshly if it's about something not funny, or not profound/important. You get points round here for being either a) hilarious b) a paragon of good sense or c) outrageously opinionated (but try to do it without being just plain offensive.)

Or option d) just spread yourself about the board like a bad rash until you seep into people's subconcious.

Guess which I did. Hmm

PinotHolidaysAreComing · 23/11/2011 09:27

In other news, due to the fog this morning my hair is Monica-in-Barbados-enormous. But also flat on top.

Not. A. Good. Look.

Hmm

Ah, you don't need to notes BIWI, you are an old hand at it. Grin

Well, not like OLD, obviously, but YKWIM

BecauseImWorthIt · 23/11/2011 09:41

I'm looking to increase my Popularity Points Profile, though, Fell. You can never have too many of them.

Grin
rycooler · 23/11/2011 09:52

To be popular on MN ( or any other chat site ) you have to be funny - it's as simple as that. And there really isn't that many genuinely funny people on here - ( maybe 4 or 5? ) you also have to be a bit mysterious, an enigma that no one can really work out -

melika · 23/11/2011 09:53

Couldn't be arsed to read if I was mentioned!

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 10:30

Pinot, my hair is always like that, in fact my dH calls me 'big hair lady' or 'hair bear bunch' (how romantic)

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 10:32

There goes my air of mystery

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 23/11/2011 10:36

Mind you he wasn't talking about my fanjo

FellatioNelson · 23/11/2011 11:01

But there are far more than 4 or 5 popular people on here ry Confused

FellatioNelson · 23/11/2011 11:04

And to be fair there are probably at least a doxen hiarious/interesting people on here who have completely gone over/under my radr, because once you get cosy you get lazy, and zone in on the same topics/people all the time. I bet they are a laugh a minute over in SN, or BESH Adoption or the Cat Litter Tray or wherever, but I wouldn't know because I don't look. I bet they have their own heirarchy within a heirarchy.
