Ha, that's where it pays to name change a lot, then if you don't get named for being a boring nobody - you can blame ton the name changing like i do.

But, this thread is seriously patronising.

Hully, so far I have failed to get me a slave maid, so I am doing the same boring shit day to day I did back in the UK, only with a lot more dust. I flail around for a while pretending to do housework and admin, then I come on MN. It's a bugger having to wait for you lot to get up though. I'm three hours ahead.

We have made a few friends (of sorts) on the compound and have been invited to a few drinks/barbies etc, which is nice, but I haven't found any forever girls to bond with yet. To be fair, I haven't made a huge effort to look yet; there has been loads of boring admin and medicals and beaurocratic hoops to jump through, the driving is scary so it's taken me a while to get the confidence to go very far from home, and we've had people here putting up shelves, curtain poles, garden gates etc, so I'm still a bit in limbo. I'm going to a coffee morning at my youngest' school tomorrow (whoop whoop! ) so perhaps that will the the start of something speshal.

MissPent not to worry, I too have done the MN version of googling yourself. (Typing your name in advanced search) But it rarely works because Cheerful is a word used a lot and also because a lot of people call me CY. So. Serves me right to be so damn self absorbed, though! :)

Also (actually reading thread now) I have danced on a bar lots of times in my yoof but NEVER been to a foam party.

And I would LOVE to meet Scottishmummy because she was nice about my blog.
