Today I marzipan'd the Christmas cake, I fear I'll be eating it before December even, is that totally unreasonable? Just how early in december can you start eating Christmas cake? It's too late to make another as there's not time to feed it enough brandy. There's only DP and Me to eat it, so there'll still be some left by Christmas (probably)
