DD has half the street's children over to play on the Wii which is not a problem and happens most Sundays.

One of the children is a little boy who lives across the road and I have just found him climbing onto the bed frame and jumping off, I asked-him if he is allowed jump of beds at home and he said no!!

I told him if he does it again he will have to go home to which he replied you can't tell me off cause your not my mum.

So don't invite him in! if he's not there he can't behave like that and then you won't need to tell him off.

Yes, why are you letting the neighbour's kids be rude to you, especially in your own house. I would have sent him home and told him why and he would not be coming back until he apologised for both his behaviour and his words.

Oh, I wasn't keen to tell him off but really? Jumping off people's beds?

They all end up at mine as we did the NM Wii test so have all the new Wii games and controllers, I don't mind especially as it's so cold outside now but I do expect better behaviour, i would be very if my DD spoke to someone like that.

They are all back outside again now and I won't be letting him back in today.

Before he goes home I would pull him to one side and say, you know I don't mind you all coming round to play with DD, but DD is not allowed to jump off furniture so it isn't fair if her friends do. You are welcome to come again, but you must remember to not jump off the furniture. If you do I will have to send you home and explain to your Mum why you are in trouble.
