Abusive to animals?? How?

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 15/11/2011 20:17

YANBU. I've never watched it, but have seen clips of desperate wannabes eating live insects and having terrified rodents poured over them. Switch a cricket for a kitten and watch the outcry.

crazynanna · 15/11/2011 20:20

Freddie Starr ate that hamster before he went into the jungle...relax Wink

SaggyoldCHRISTMASHUMBUGcatpuss · 15/11/2011 20:25

What Chickens said! Eating live things, being put into tanks full of insects and stuff, many of them must die. If they really did make Freddie Starr eat a live hamster, there would be uproar. But it's ok, because it's a worm, or a cockroach. Well I don't think it is.

Freddie Starr didn't actually eat a hamster at all. It was a made up story.

SandyClaw · 15/11/2011 20:37

I agree it's cruel to the animals involved.
Last year or the year before there was an uproar about them killing and eating a rat but apparently it's ok to eat live insects.

SaggyoldCHRISTMASHUMBUGcatpuss · 15/11/2011 20:39

Insects aside. its just humiliation for entertainment.

Meh, they deserve the humiliation. They know what they've signed up for

I'm a nonentity, get me into there!
