To step my dislike of Gordon Ramsey up a notch because of this?

I think he's an arrogant, mouthy fuckwad anyway. THEN I heard on Daybreak breakfast television this morning, on a segment they were doing about fathers needing more support after their DPs/DWs have given birth, that Gordy dodged all four of his children's births because he was "scared it would ruin his relationship."

Shock

So in other words, he didn't want to be there in case the sight of his wife's fanjo looking less than pristine put him off having sex with her ever again. He is not a man, he is a child in a man's body. I am also judging his wife for allowing this type of bullshit to continue through four pregnancies. Fair enough, he doesn't want to go down the "business end" but what kind of man would refuse to be there to hold his wife's hand/brow mop/be an object to punch whilst she is giving birth to the child that HE helped create, just in case it ruined his desire for sexy times?

He's an idiot, isn't he?

Remember when the papers printed a story of an "affair"? They were might have been allowed to do so as damage limitation. On a completely unrelated note, that week's popbitch asked 'Which in-the-news celebrity is worried that his relationships with a transexual escort and a rent boy are going to hit the newsstands?'

BupcakesandCunting · 15/11/2011 10:25

I want to be present at someone's birth. I have sisters or daughters so it'll never happen, probably. :(

*No sisters or daughters

PosiesOfPoinsettia · 15/11/2011 10:29

LeBof.....Do you write Popbitch?

Don't answer, I would like to pretend either way!

GobblersKnob · 15/11/2011 10:30

LeBOF I remember the same thing doing the rounds as a pm, cryptic title then huge thread of 'please pm me' and that was what you got. Wonder if it's still in my inbox?

travellingwilbury · 15/11/2011 10:31

Someone who is also another alpha male type and at the time his marriage to a very high profile newspaper editor friend of Murdoch went tits up because allegedly he was found in bed with a woman .

Allegedly not exactly true .

PosiesOfPoinsettia · 15/11/2011 10:32

Ah......so the IVF style impregnation works for that story too.

BupcakesandCunting · 15/11/2011 10:32

Alpha male should just be written as "massive twat" IMO.

BOF, how does Popbitch work? I so want to read it but it just looks a hot mess whenever I look at the chat page...

It was a bloke wasn't it, which is why he didn't press charges?

LeBOF · 15/11/2011 10:33

Hehe- I remember that one, travellingwilbury...every time I see him now, he looks suddenly kemp camp.

PosiesOfPoinsettia · 15/11/2011 10:34

Thinking friend of warzone and Janet, from X factor, look alike.,

BupcakesandCunting · 15/11/2011 10:35

I am always suspicious of men who act overtly "manly"

OP posts:
travellingwilbury · 15/11/2011 10:35

Exactly , and I heard from a very good source , so it must be true Grin

But nobody ever believes me when I try an enlighten them .

All the pointless posturing they both do just makes so much more sense now .

PosiesOfPoinsettia · 15/11/2011 10:35

One of my gay male friends fb'd me and told me that story, friend of a friend was the bloke in question. Apparently.

BupcakesandCunting · 15/11/2011 10:37

Posies, PM me with details ASAP.

SarahStratton · 15/11/2011 10:38

I can't work that one out, way too cryptic for me. Some kind soul please PM me, pretty please. Grin

LeBOF · 15/11/2011 10:41

I don't think it will be repeated Bup.

worldgonecrazy · 15/11/2011 10:46

I'm also not a huge fan of men being there at the birth - there were quite a few press articles when I was pregnant about the stress hormone emitted by men during labour slowing it down or causing it to stop?

I adore Gordon Ramsay - I suspect this is just posturing to keep him in the public eye. No chef with such a low staff turn over can be that bad in RL. I suspect his media personality and his RL one are quite different.

PosiesOfPoinsettia · 15/11/2011 10:46

I thought that too.....lawyers!!

Bup.....have Pm'd you.
