Because I hate it. And every time I look at it I remember that we spent over £1000 on it. Yet despite the fact we have only had it about 2 weeks, whenever I sit on it, it feels like it's about 5 years old. Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish. Sh*y polyester filled cheap seat cushions your bum disappears into like the thing's trying to eat you. The fact I spent so much on it makes me want to cry.

You need to either speak to them or Trading standards. I had a LA sofa years ago and it was beautiful - lasted for years! excellent quality. Speak to them - if you get no joy try TS

Oh I feel your pain. I paid nearly that for mine and its so badly made. The covers are supposed to be washable but all the zips broke trying to get them back in, the arm cushions slide off over the side whenever someone sits down and the back cushions have random bits of stuffing inside the covers to fill the corners out! It sagged badly within about 6 months too. Not LA but such a disappointment!

So the moral of the story is: you would have been happier if you had got one from ikea for £250, and at least if it had turned out to be shit, you would have been half expecting it.

Both our sofas and the armchair in the living room are from Laura Ashley...they're different, but all equally comfy and lovely. You should complain.
