What they put: 'a motivated professional responsible for comprehensive production of strategic marketing inititatives'

What I remember: 'a workshy dimwit who went off on the sick for months, all the while being well enough to post photos of themselves looking merry down the pub on a social networking site'.

What they put: 'development director responsible for generating increased revenue and exceeding business targets.'

What I remember: 'a loud, overbearing fright who spent a lot of time looking at forwarded emails with cock pictures in who never left the office to meet clients and was in the business during one of our worst financial periods ever.'

Hmm

I know why they do it, I can't imagine anyone would hire them otherwise,, the phrase 'as thick as mince' comes to mind, but does everyone do it? My CV is an attempt to make my professional experience sound as attractive as it can but I don't lie or egregiously exaggerate.

I am self motivated and manage my own time well.

I like to spend 5 minutes spot squeezing in the toilet every afternoon before doing a tea run, buffing my nails and checking fb.
