DD has brought the class bear home for the weekend. I have flicked through his 'travel diary' and read all the exciting stuff he's been up to with some of her classmates. DD is very excited and wants to take him to the park, swimming pool etc. All very nice.

But there must be some fun to be had. Has anyone ever done anything a bit more unusual with Barnaby? I was wondering whether he may like to sneak downstairs and have a and a curry with me and DH. Maybe after a few he might like to meet one of the female teddies..

When we had the class toy I propped it up with a porn mag and a lot of empty beer cans and took a picture. Which I did at least manage not to send into school with DS...

Could Barnaby Bear perhaps enjoy playing COD with your DH if he's a gamer? Or watch Grown Up telly like CSI or Shameless?

If he were here, he could have a drive of my car (classic Beetle)

Or, perhaps Barnaby is a very helpful bear, and is doing the ironing and hoovering?

My ds brought home his class bear for the weekend today as well. He has this evening set his own facebook page up. The plan is to include lots of pictures of him doing all sorts such as cleaning his teeth, going to mcdonalds, having a bed time story, doing some online shopping, having a bath (he stinks) and watching tv. Non identifying pictures will be put on his facebook page and pictures of the bear and ds will be put in the book. Am planning on getting some pictures of him and bear mates such as winnie the pooh, rupert the bear and pudsey but am thinking may have to look odd and take sneaky pictures because I have no clue how to photoshop.

I didnt actually see the point of rewarding the 'good' child that week with an hours homework writing a story up. More like a punishment for conforming.

I duct taped the fucker to a swing ..... I took it to the park and abused it on various items of equipment. I also took it to a funeral.

We didnt get the bastard thing back again - oh and I did polaroids a well. Just to give the rest of the class nightmares.

My mother was primary teacher - these things are designed to be insightful into your family life eg "mary does ballet, horse riding, Grade 4 piano - but her father is no where to be seen" ....James does "Level 3 flute, enjoys swimming, making up barbie with pink glittery make up and mummy is a wine soaked lush who only does nutella sandwiches for tea"

troisgarcons I am going to take a photo of him sitting in front of the tv with a fruit shoot and a Greggs sausage roll. This will hopefully balance up the other kids who are offering him bowls of blueberries and carrot sticks and a home made smoothie...
