AIBU to be feeling hard done by and very unlucky

The week before half term had a tummy/bug viral thing and felt ghastly for two/three days. Last week fell over and got badly bruised and wrenched my knee. Today am coughing, bunged up, cold and feeling ghastly. I'm never ill - does anyone have any immunity boosing ideas or this my body saying, slow down and take a few days off?

Look at it this way.......at least you don't have cancer Smile

(are you feeling better now?)

Oh, well, in answer to you actually question AIBU to feel hard done by and very unlucky...erm...YABU a bit (I clicked expecting to hear of houses and jobs lost and car stolen or something).

However, red veg made into a soup is full of good stuff that is good for the immune system. I try and feed it to the DC's regularly to keep colds and flu away. Seems to work quite well, touch wood.

It has red onion, sweet potato, carrots, red lentils.

itsokaytodisagree - I've been wondering about you - thank you for confirming my suspicions with that astonishingly crass comment.

Spatone, a good multivitamin and plenty of fruit/veg/red meat and oily fish. Plenty of rest.

I posted something similar a month or so ago (miscarriage followed by scarlatina, shingles and general lethargy) and the above seem to have helped.

Menopausal I thought the same thing.
