I'm still trying to work out what I think of it and what it tells us (well, me) about the education system. It manages to inspire and depress me at the same time.

worraliberty · 03/11/2011 15:41

I watch it with my DS too

We love the sarky Mr Drew Grin

fuzzynavel · 03/11/2011 16:23

Yeah Worra he's our favourite too. DS actually said he would love it if he was deputy at his school Grin DS nearly 14 by the way.

And have to say watching it together has opened many a great discussion between us.

Me too, my friend's DD was in yr 11 at the school when it was filmed. She still has two DS there. Saw a glimpse of her DD at the end of last week when they showing the prom photo, so hopefully will see more of her this week.

I'm very sad that it's the last one :(

purplemurple · 03/11/2011 16:35

Tonights episode features a boy with Asperger Syndrome, really looking forward to it.

Sparklingbrook · 03/11/2011 16:38

Yes-I watch it with DS1 (12). I still don't know what to make of it all so I sit there open mouthed generally. Mr Drew is great Grin

Dillydollydaydream · 03/11/2011 16:54

Last one tonight? Oh no :(
Really enjoyed the series so far.

Me and my ds 13 watch it together, we love Mr Drew ds reckons their dep head is a bit mad like Mr Drew, and he loves watching the staff interaction the way they joke together. It's been a real insight into what the kids get up to, and how some speak to staff.
