While i sit and watch telly with a hot cup of tea?

All three are playing happily TOGETHER.... v.v. rare event in our house.

I really should be scrubbing the walls down ready for painting tonight/ironing/sorting out the messy drawer huge cuboard under stairs hovering washing etc.. but they will all try and 'help' - and i really cant be arsed

Can i leave them to get on with it and enjoy my tea ;)

Yanbu, enjoy your tea :)

Why do you even need to ask Confused - my method of parenting is to constantly expect my DS to amuse himself whilst I am mumsnetting busy. Grin.

Are you usually this indecisive ? Grin

You don't need permission to have a nice bit o'chocolate and a cup of tea. It's practically the law.

alwayspoor · 01/11/2011 16:19

Go for it. Smile

shagmundfreud · 01/11/2011 16:21

A whole hour?

My kids spend so long on the wii they've worn a hole in the carpet in front of the tv.

One hour would be considered an 'amuse bouche' in the great wii banquet they have most some weekends.

Secrecy · 01/11/2011 17:12

V unreasonable. It will get squashed.

Seriously, as long as they're playing well together, count your blessings!

Ineedalife · 01/11/2011 17:16

Gosh!!! 3 kids that are playing together, its never happened in my house, make the most of itGrin

CoffeeDog · 01/11/2011 17:43

It lasted 27 blissfull minutes ;)

If this is unreasonable then someone needs to call child services on me. I leave my DD to play on the iPad for an hour or more and she loves it. If they're happy what's the harm? She's on her iPad, I'm on my laptop and we sit watching the football. Bliss!
