to think parents across the land are now stuffing themselves with sweets...

At the moment our road is literally over crowded with hoards of small children begging for sweets... and gleefully clutching their booty as they walk up the road...

but reading through this board, an awful lot of parents seem to think that sweets and chocolate are the work of the devil, and the mere whiff of a mars bar will have their child wobbling down the path to obesity as their rotten teeth rattle....

No sweets here. I throw eggs and flour at the hideous little sugar crazed urchins!

Guilty scoffer here!

But, that is because for some strange reason my youngest (6) doesn't like sweets. He thinks he does, is always asking for them and was delighted with tonights spoils. Then he unwraps them, takes a small bite and hands them to me or his big brother to eat. Yummy!

I've had a lovely evening! I've only be visited by people I know and I've had a chat and a chocolate with each and every mum along the way! It's the way forward! Grin

Well I did get a few sweeties in just in case we had trick or treaters but we only had 3 toddlers in the end. I've given some to dcs but it wouldn't be good for them to scoff the lot so I've been helping them out .

I'm eating the leftovers Blush - am planning to eat it all in a glut tonight and then emerge, blinking, from the fog of gluttony tomorrow and snap back to lean self-discipline (har har). Grin
