I've bought in a load of sweeties, I've carved a pumpkin and put it on the front porch. I've hung up bunting and put on Halloweeny music. I'm wearing a witch's hat. And not one of the ungrateful little feckers has deigned to knock on the door yet. Where the devil are they all? Have I gone to all this effort for nothing??? Or does my house just look unappealing [hhmm]

We had loads here which is odd as the last 2 years we had none, took the dc's around and there were lots of groups, was really nice, we only knocked on decorated houses. Shame ds started feeling ill and whined all the way home then promptly barfed all over the sofa, he didn't even eat any sweets.

right I know why you lot had none.. we gave up after 50... seriously.. we stopped answering the door after we had given out 50 bags..

next year I shall redirect them and share the joy around ..

btw i thought you gave this up when you went to high school.. seems not
