EvilElizabethPonsonby · 30/10/2011 19:34

I took that call earlier...school uniforms were done in the week so feck it Grin

shuffleballchange · 30/10/2011 19:46

my genius plan is to do it tomorrow while watching TOWIE on catch-up, DS1 at school, DS2 napping - what can go wrong? The best part is no school uniform as DS1 is dressing as a Victorian and they didnt iron their clothes then did they? Hmm

troisgarcons · 30/10/2011 20:08

Isnt this where they arrive and tell you to get a cleaner/au pair/nanny/ironing lady?

AgentZigzag · 30/10/2011 20:11

Regardless of the great distress it caused me, I did mine earlier.

I suggest you crack on

Grin
StopRainingPlease · 30/10/2011 20:32

AgentZigzag, I did mine earlier too.... in 1997. Have done hardly any ironing since Smile.

marriedinwhite · 30/10/2011 21:12

It's getting chilly and they will have the jumpers on so you can get away with collars and cuffs!

RightUpMyRue · 30/10/2011 21:17

Not doing ironing is never unreasonable.

Whatmeworry · 30/10/2011 21:42

Bloody fairies today, so lazy and unreliable....

countessbabycham · 30/10/2011 21:46

I have done school ironing earlier.

The other 3ft of ironing pile is my present to DH Grin

Happymm · 30/10/2011 21:53

I did mine at the START of the holidays! Am one smug bjitch now :o

GetOrfMo1Land · 30/10/2011 21:54

Just iron what you need every day.

I would hate to iron a whole lot of laundry all in one go.

So just iron shirt/whatever in the morning before I get dressed and it takes 10 mins.

And get everyone in the house to iron their own stff.

OryxCrake · 30/10/2011 21:55

Hate ironing - we iron as we need the clothes (and more often than not go out looking slightly crumpled - the creases drop out after a bit...)

OryxCrake · 30/10/2011 21:55

So YAabsolutelyNBU

auntiepicklebottom2 · 30/10/2011 21:55

I will do mine in the morning
