it is a very stupid (but easy) thing to do.... but the clanking should have alerted you to it...

I have washed £2000.... luckily I know how to stop the machine and drain it, or husband was about to take a sledgehammer to the door! .... oh the row we had that night!

i stopped the machine after 5 mins of hearding it clank, and have totally bollocked dh, who thinks im over reacting.
