I will be 7 months pregnant at the Christmas party and have been looking around the shops for a great dress for a while

Everything is so bland!! It is totally doing my head in. I am going shopping tomorrow (hence posting here for the traffic) and I have been looking online ALL DAY and just can't find anything that will look nice :( Even ASOS is uninspiring atm!

Everything I see seems to be a tea dress!

Please can I ask you to recommend where I can go? (online or when I go to town)
I only have a budget of £40-£50 maximum and I am really to short to pull off a Maxi Dress lol

Ebay. I bought an amazing Crave evening dress on there (sea green with beading, looked gorgeous, would have worn it even if not pregnant) for £10 a couple of years ago.

I never even thought of ebay!

Will have a good look now. My god, I havent even got a paypal account anymore lol!

Another option is to get a fantastic over-the-top necklace and wear it with a plain dress. That is my solution to being unable to find a decent going-out outfit.

I have just seen one in a parenting magazine that I got through the post today - it was gorgeous and only cost £28.

I do like that dress but I'm a bit too chuppa chubbs for that dress lol

I have just ordered 3 from ASOS clearance but am only going to keep 1 - if it fits!
we had to spend all our spare money on new boiler / radiators before winter came! Sad days
