Should I park in my allocated space and let dp find his own space when he comes home?

We have several parking spaces in our road that anyone can park in.

I choose to park in one of them,as parking is a problem in our road ,to many cars not enough spaces.

Aibu to take this space?,and leave dp our allocated space when he comes home?

Link to the other thread?
I park outside our house so that OH can park on the driveway. If it's a parking area that's open to all I don't think you're being unreasonable at all. I didn't think you were on the other thread either.

No I get exactly what you mean and its fine. We have visitor spaces and they are fair game! We have two allocated spaces but most of the other houses and flats only have one - I get very irate if anyone parks in one of our spaces but the visitor spaces are definitely up for grabs.

NBU at all.

No idea what other thread is!
