To shop neighbour who has been given disability car as a "gift"

neighbours dad has a brand new sporty disability car that he has gifted to his daughter for her own full use.

It is hers, the dad stays in the next town and never it, I know she has full use of it.

Usually I would mind my own business over most things but it just makes me seethe that she has been given this and so many people who need things have to go without.

It also has a built in bluebadge so she can conveniently park in disabled spaces.

Am not quite sure how payment for disability cars work I take it her dad has to use his dla for the car? But it still seems like a huge take the piss off the system?

We reported someone once. She had given her son the new mobility car, and then was getting a taxi to and from the hospital, paid for by the hospital, three times a week (for dialysis). We knew both the mum and son independently and they both confirmed it. Didn't help that the son was a spoilt little arsehole who bragged about his brand new car.

I think the hospital revoked her paid taxi's so her son had to drop off/pick up his mum (this is what the car should have been used for).

Mobility fraud does happen but having jumped through the hoops required by the DLA I don't report anyone, except for this incident. We only reported this pair as we did know the exact situation. However, I don't normally judge or care whether people have mobility cars, as normally they are at such a cost to the family who have the car (with upfront payments etc).
